Printing on Pabric

  1. How to optimize printing results on Pabric?

Select digital image higher than 150 dpi for quality printing. Images with resolution higher than 300 dpi are desired for detailed and high quality printing. To reproduce original art, we recommend scan and print with resolution higher than 300 dpi. The fabric can print at 600 dpi.

Pabric has the best presentation in red (Magenta). Color adjustment can be done by color management software (ICC Profile created for large format printers) or design software for a desirable color presentation. The printing result will be slightly different on Pabric Soft, Art and Sticker due to the variant fabric density.
  2. What types of printers should I use?

Pabric is only for INKJET printers. Please Do Not use Pabric on laser printers. It might damage your machines.

Desktop inkjet printers, wide-format, and professional large-format inkjet printers with dye or pigment inks generally work together with Pabric pretty well.

Specially created ICC Profile for color management on Pabric is recommend for wide-format or large-format printing with color management capability. The ICC profile is currently not provided by Pabric.

Our letter-size sheets are compatible with most inkjet desktop printers.
  3. Pabric and large-format printers?

Use our 16" roll sample for your large-format printer. For the larger rolls in 16" ~ 54" width, they are used on the large-format printer. As long as your large-format printer uses pigment or dye base inks, Pabric can be used on the machine.
  4. What is the best type of ink to use on Pabric?

Dye, pigment or ultra chrome inks will work with Pabric.
  5. How do I print on Pabric?

The printing process is easy. You just feed in the Pabric sheet as normal paper and you can print your photos right onto the Pabric.
  6. What side do I print on?

The paper-like and faced-up side is the printing side. If you pay attention to the texture of the fabric, the smoother side, which is more like paper texture, is the side that you print on. The image should come out solid and not easily rubbed off. If your image is light and rubbed-off easily with your fingertip then it has been printed on the wrong side.
  7. Which image editing software should I use with Pabric?

You may use image editors such as Adobe Photoshop to create a mirror (reverse) image and then print it onto the fabric. Any photo editors and graphic design software that allows you to print images to your printers will work.
