Pabric Project Help

  1. Which kind of Pabric should I use for my project?

Pabric Soft, Art and Sticker are created with different application purposes in mind. Pabric Soft is for sewing and stitching. Pabric Art is light fabric cardstock, best for design printing and paper/fabric creations. Pabric Sticker is fabric with the peel-off adhesive layer. The adhesive creates firm and repositional binding on different surfaces.

The best way to know which type of Pabric is right for your project is to actually try the fabric. Or, please visit our Gallery or Designer & Artist Corner to get more ideas about possible projects you can do with different product lines of Pabric.
  2. Can you tell me more about the adhesive on Pabric Sticker?

The adhesive is medium tack binding. The adhesive layer is clear with clear film backing. Pabric Sticker is basically Pabric Art and one layer of adhesive backing.

If you feel that the adhesive on Pabric Sticker may not be strong enough, you can purchase Pabric Creative and use super glue.
  3. How do I sew the Pabric sheet? Can other adhering methods be used?

Our fabric is sew-on fabric not iron-on. So you put the fabric sheet in the printer just like regular paper, and print your digital pictures on the fabric. You can then sew the fabric with picture together with other fabric.

Pabric can be fusible webbed with medium heat. You probably need to test for the appropriate heat though.
  4. Can I use Pabric for quilts?

If you pre-wash or will wash your quilts, Pabric won't be the right material. It is more used on postcard quilts or quilts for decoration purposes because the fabric is dust and water-resistant.
  5. How do I apply Pabric to the candle kits while minimizing wrinkles?

A couple of repositions will smooth out the wrinkles. Try to wrap the sticker around without putting too much pressure on the fabric to the candle body first. Wait until you make sure the sticker is positioned well and then press the sticker on the candle.

Another alternative is to use Pabric Art without the adhesive backing instead of Pabric Sticker to print and make the candle image. Without the adhesive, Pabric Art can be easily positioned and you can use strong double-sided tape to close at the seam. Some of our customers do prefer this method.
  6. Can I write on Pabric?

Our fabric can also be written on easily. So get your marker or oil-based paint and write your words directly on the fabric to give some personal touch to your project.
