4Photo transfersApr 08, 2011
By H. Chambers
I like this product, the pima cotton has a nicer feel than some other choices. I recently tried a silk transfer product and was impressed by the closeness of the image my inkjets, both HP and Epson, printed on paper. The Printed Treasures transfer leaves a bit 'muddier' an appearance, thus the 4 instead of 5 star rating. However, the silk is quite sheer and much more fragile, I can't use it for rougher use projects.

I boost the saturation on my photo settings which helps, and, I make test prints on paper until I'm satisfied. I've made 'daddy dolls' for my preschool grandchildren as my son deployed, and a quilt for him of his family members which is subject to shipboard laundering. The fabric and color has held up quite well under such conditions. I'd never had problems removing the backing until I made these last projects last December, then made one of those 'obvious' connections. My house was cold. I had another project that required some templates that I made from freezer paper. I was ironing the freezer paper onto fabric when it dawned on me that applying a warm iron to the Printed Treasures backing paper might help it come off more easily. It became very simple to remove the paper, I removed the paper from the next 11 transfers in half the total time that it took to remove the paper from my first (cold) attempt. I realized that I'd always done the transfers when it was warm before.

1paper won't come cleanly off the fabricSep 06, 2010
By Jeanne Surber
At $2-$4 a shot it is frustrating when the paper won't cleanly peel off the fabric.

I am making a quilt for my future grandson and wanted to add his ultra sound picture to it, so i printed the ultra sound on the Printed treasure printable fabric and it came out great.
Thanks,

1Simply HorribleOct 19, 2010
By Jen
This product is horrible. The paper does not come off the backing very well at all. It shreds and then when you pick at the backing, the photo fabric gets scratched. Totally not satisfied with this product. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! Go with another brand.

1Printed Treasures paper removal is a nightmare!Apr 19, 2011
By Elaine Adair
Terrible. The printed photo quality is good, but getting the paper off is a nightmare. It shreds, and the bits of paper remove in layers. I live in a dry climate, and my iron no longer steams - steaming seemed like a sensible solution -- so I tried the teapot steam thing. Other than burning my fingers, this was not successful - I stood over the steam with my tweezers to pull it off, and it still came off in shreds. If steam is necessary, why not say it on the label? I have 20 photos chosen, digitized, manipulated, and ready to be printed using this product but it looks like that entire idea will not be using Printed Treasures. I am very disappointed.
